What attracted you to easyProperty?
I was attracted to easyProperty firstly by Kelvin, who explained a great business model that incorporated my image as a Rugby player and my following to bring in new customers who are fans of rugby league. Not only does it prove we can do other things out of the sport, it allowed me to help and give back to the people that support me daily.
What do you love about your area?
Castleford is a remarkable little town that comes from a mining background that’s a hotbed for rugby and drinking beer. It has a close-knit population of around 30-40 thousand people and with 80% of those being rugby fans, we have exposure to a wide variety of people that know who I am and what I do.
What type of estate agent are you aiming to be and what will you do differently?
I’m wanting to be completely different to your stereotypical estate agent and have a relationship and good understanding of the people I’m working for. It’s not always easy but if we can take the hassle away and keep our clients smiling from time to time, we are doing our jobs correctly.
What are your ambitions for your business?
As a business, we are only scratching the surface of the estate agency world and we have a great team that all come together to create a good down-to-earth relationship. Kelvin and I are doing the valuation and marketing of the properties and bring face to face interaction whilst administrator/genius Jo is behind the phone and computer screen - we make an awesome trio.
Why do you think home sellers and buyers will enjoy working with you?
I think they will enjoy a relaxed and honest response to all their enquiries and problems. Level heads and straight down the line is something that we pride ourselves on. Honesty is key in most situations, so clients know where they stand and what options they have in front of them.
What does good customer experience look, sound and feel like?
Our reviews speak for themselves, and we aim to keep reaching this feedback constantly, keeping the company’s reputation high up here in the north of England.

Something interesting about you that no one would know.
One of my favourite hobbies is fishing, I like to sit on the side of a lake completely shutting off from the world and chasing my PB. The biggest fish I’ve ever caught was 23.5lb at the age of 14!
