easyProperty does not collect financial, banking or health data.
2. How personal data is used
Personal data is processed to provide the estate agency comparison service and to pass enquiries to easyProperty’s partner for agent matching. It is also used to respond to enquiries, improve the website and for general business analytics — all in the legitimate interests of the business.
Where consent has been given, personal data may be used for marketing communications. Data is also processed where required to comply with legal or regulatory obligations or for fraud prevention purposes.
3. Disclosure of personal data
Net An Agent Ltd (Netanagent)
When an enquiry is submitted, the relevant details are passed to easyProperty’s partner, Net An Agent Ltd, which operates the estate agent matching service at netanagent.com. Net An Agent Ltd uses those details to identify and present suitable estate agents and passes the details to the agents selected by the user.
Estate agents
The estate agent selected receives the enquirer’s contact details and becomes an independent data controller responsible for its own use of that data.
Service providers
Personal data may be shared with third-party service providers engaged to support the operation of the website and business. Such providers are permitted to process personal data only on easyProperty’s instructions and in accordance with applicable data protection law.
Legal and business transfers
Personal data may be disclosed where required by law, court order or regulatory authority. In the event of a sale or acquisition of business assets, personal data may transfer as part of that transaction.
Personal data is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes without prior consent.
