How easyProperty compares estate agents
easyProperty is a free estate agent comparison service for people selling a home in the UK. Enter your postcode and a few details about your home and you see local high street and online estate agents side by side, with their fees, reviews and sold data. Comparing is free and carries no obligation. easyProperty is not an estate agent.
This page explains what the service does, what you see about each agent, how agents are included, where the information comes from and how your details are used.

What easyProperty does
easyProperty is a free UK estate agent comparison service and part of the easy family of brands founded by Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou. Enter your postcode and easyProperty shows you the fees, reviews and performance data of local and online estate agents side by side, so you can choose the right agent to sell your home.
The service works in three steps:
- Enter your postcode and a few details about the home you are selling.
- Compare the agents shown for your area: their fees, reviews and sold data.
- Request valuations from the agents you like and choose the one that suits you best. You deal with that agent directly.
easyProperty does not list, market or sell property itself. It does not carry out valuations or viewings and has no branches or local agents. The estate agents shown are independent businesses; the agent you choose charges its own fee and you deal with that agent directly.
What you see about each agent
For each agent shown for your postcode, easyProperty sets out the information a seller needs to make a first comparison:
- Fees. An indicative fee quote from each agent, including VAT, so you can compare high street percentage fees with online fixed fees. The fees appear once you enter your email address and telephone number.
- Services. What each agent offers, such as the property portals it uses and whether it is a high street or online agent.
- Sold data. Information on the agent’s recent sales.
- Reviews. What other sellers say about the agent.
easyProperty compares over 8,500 estate agents across the UK, including both high street and online agents.
Fees are only one part of the decision. Our guide to estate agent fees explains what a typical fee is and how to work out the cost on your home. Our guide on how to choose an estate agent sets out the figures and contract terms to compare.
Free and without obligation
Comparing estate agents on easyProperty is free. There is no charge to see the agents for your area, to compare their fees or to request valuations. There is no obligation to instruct any agent. If you instruct an agent, that agent charges its own selling fee under its own contract with you. Read that contract before you sign it.
How agents are included
The agents shown are independent high street and online estate agents that sell homes in your area.
Where the data comes from
The fees are indicative quotes provided by the agents themselves and include VAT. The house prices on our local area pages come from HM Land Registry.
Wherever a figure comes from, check it with the agent at the valuation. Ask how many homes like yours the agent has sold nearby in the last year, how long they took and how close the sale prices came to the asking prices. You can also check sold prices yourself with the HM Land Registry search house prices service for England and Wales.
Your privacy
When you choose agents and ask for valuations, your contact details go to the agents you choose so that they can contact you. The form explains, before you send it, that if you leave having chosen fewer than three agents your details may be passed to up to three partner agents to contact you about selling your home.
easyProperty is a trading name of Charles Hancock & Co., 168 Fulham Road, London SW10 9PR. Our privacy policy explains what personal data is collected, how it is used and your rights over it.
